【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstheuseofnear-infrared(NIR)spectroscopyforthequalitativeanalysisofliquidsandsolids.ThepracticeiswrittenundertheassumptionthatmostNIRqualitativeanalyseswillbeperformedwithinstrumentsdesignedspecificallyforthisregionandequippedwithcomputerizeddatahandlingalgorithms.Inprinciple,however,thepracticealsoappliestoworkwithliquidsamplesusinginstrumentsdesignedforoperationovertheultraviolet(UV),visible,andmid-infrared(IR)regionsifsuitabledatahandlingcapabilitiesareavailable.ManyFourierTransformInfrared(FTIR)(normallyconsideredmid-IRinstruments)haveNIRcapability,oratleastextended-rangebeamsplittersthatallowoperationto1.2[mu]m;thispracticealsoappliestodatafromtheseinstruments.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
