【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtoprovideastandardsetofguidelinesthataretobefollowedwhenconductingandreportingoninspectionsofinstalledfireresistivejointsystems.Thispracticeisintendedtoprovideameanstoverifycomplianceoftheinstalledfireresistivejointsystemstotheinspectiondocuments.Thispracticeisnotintendedtoprovideabasisforselectinginstallersorproducts,orboth.Thispracticeisnotintendedtoestablishanyperformancecriteriaoftheinspectedfireresistivejointsystems.1.1Thispracticecoverstheestablishmentofprocedurestoinspectfireresistivejointsystems,includingmethodsforfieldverificationandinspection.1.2Thispracticeaddressesalltypesoffireresistivejointsystemsandofperimeterjointprotection.Note18212;FireresistivejointsystemandjointaredefinedinTestMethodE1966andUL2079.Note28212;PerimeterjointprotectionisdefinedinTestMethodE2307.Note38212;Fireresistivejointsystemsincludejointsbetweentwofireresistiveassemblies,andperimeterjointsbetweenafireresistivefloorassemblyandanon-fire-resistivewallassembly.Theapplicationofthesesystemsaresometimesextendedbasedonanevaluationtoothertypesofconstruction.1.3Thispracticeprovidesmethodsbywhichqualifiedinspectorsverifythatrequiredfireresistivejointsystemsonaprojecthavebeeninstalledandthattheirinstallationsareinaccordancewiththeinspectiondocuments.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.6Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.
